of Geopolitics: contemporary aspects. Monograph. – Minsk: IPS RB, 2024. – 574 p.
Abstract
The transformational processes of our time are so diverse and multilevel that they again and again encourage us to appeal to the need for their comprehensive research. The transitional state of the world system reinforces the urgent need to search, argumentation and explanation of current and probabilistic trends, patterns, driving forces, principles and prospects also from a philosophical perspective. Recently, the focus has increasingly been on the philosophy of geopolitics, which allows us to emphasize the interconnection of a set of aspects, including axiological. One of the leading representatives in this field in the Union State of Belarus and Russia can rightfully be called a full member of the Academy of Military Sciences, Doctor of Military Sciences, Professor N. V. Karpilenya. The monograph “Philosophy of Geopolitics: contemporary aspects” (2024) continues a series of publications in the indicated direction and develops the author’s concept developed by him.
Keywords: geopolitical expansion of the Sea Power, dialectics, national security, neo-Eurasianism, patriotism, political elite, Orthodox (Russian) civilization, Union State, Land Power.
